| I voted Marvel.
Even though DC has Batman and I think Watchmen too, Marvel has more characters that I like better.
The Punisher, Daredevil, Elektra, Stick, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, War Machine, Nick Fury, Black Widow, Gambit, Wolverine.

| I remember Captain Canuck!! I probably have his first issue in a box here somewhere. -From the late 1980s or early 1990s, right? I bought it, liked it and could never find another issue. That was partly my fault because I was at a time when I was deciding whether I wanted to buy a comic book or eat. I often chose to eat.
But yeah, I chose Marvel. Especially when I got back into collecting again for a short while when they came out with MARVELS by Alex Ross. I just couldn't believe all the old stories that I knew and loved were being re-told from a pedestrian's perspective.
I also want to add that they do Kick-Ass. which I have a love/hate relationship with. And also Civil War had a pretty profound effect on not only their comic book community, but also gave US a lot to think about with the whole registration thing.
I've gotta admit that I've always felt that DC was the one who arrived early enough at the party but didn't have anything too interesting to talk about. I mean, I LOVE Batman as an archetypal character and try to check back in with him once in a while, but my heart goes to the characters at Marvel. |

| And even though I'm pretty old, I still find the non-superhero aspects of Peter Parker tend to reflect my life pretty accurately. Missed appointments, Not enough sleep, unexplained injuries, angry boss despite my long-term commitment, exceptional talent and flair for the job, no friends, etc. |

| You also forgot Image Comics, and Dark Horse Comics. And I really can't deside between Marvel and DC. |
