Aftershock: The Emerald Avenger (Introduction)

Greetings everyone!

My name is Aftershock and I am from Oshawa, Ontario. I am a proud Canadian RLSH and love selflessly improving my community by offering friendly free services. These include what I call "Safety Patrols" around the city, Litter Removal from local parks or playgrounds, and "Homeless Outreach" where I hand out "Care Packages". These packs may include bottled water, hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant etc), socks, gloves, blankets, snacks, or sandwiches!

I don't exactly consider myself a "Crime Fighter", more so just a crime preventer. Where if I see a crime in process I will notify the proper authorities and attempt to detain the suspect (if possible, and by the books) until the police show up. I don't go out looking for Drug Dealers or Gangsters etc. I simply walk the streets, remain vigilant, and hope for the best :-)

I have a small team called The Katalysts. So far our members include myself, Blue Vixen (my wife), Lady "Layla" Lavender, Krimson Justice, Regulus, Ninja Knight, Polarman, and Atomic Fist.

Thanks everyone for the kind welcome! Glad to be here finally and hopefully will be able to take a lot of positive and constructive things away from this place. Unlike the Facebook RLSH community, where one has to walk on proverbial eggshells.... o.O

Also... Dark Shadow, what's this supposed to mean: "From a place you do not see comes a sound you will not hear..." ??? Sounds like a bunch of nothingness or darkness.

Since we're asking questions,

Why are you the Emerald Avenger?

Who are you avenging? Sounds like another random title.

@ The Wall Creeper: "Since we're asking questions" by that do you mean since I am asking Dark Shadow about his quote? Lol. Sounds like you're offended and trying to be spiteful. Not my intentions, I was just curious. As for your question about the "Emerald Avenger" tag to my name, one of my biggest influences / inspirations came from DC Comic's first masked hero known as the Crimson Avenger. Since I have an affinity for that character I decided to pay homage by adding a similar moniker to my name.

Now to answer "Who are you avenging?". Well in a sense I would say I'm avenging victims of senseless crime and bullying. Or at least making an effort to do so. Too many nameless citizens have been wronged in my city and Durham Region and I feel they need more than just the help of the local authorities. Someone who's out there on their behalf fighting for what's right. Someone who doesn't need a paycheck in order to uphold the laws. An Emerald Avenger who looks out for their safety without thanks, payment, or regret.

So as you can now plainly see, it is not just a "Random Title". Not to mention, I DO wear green

I recommend not suggesting "felt emotions" of a person you don't know. Regarding DarkShadow's quote: I simply tire of people that don't bother to think about the subjects they question before demanding an answer for them.

I think he was just wanting to start conversation there. It happens. It's good to encourage that sort of thing, even if it sounds odd. We have to be able to be weird like that around each other. That's how it worked back in the good old days and that's how we gotta be able to have it here otherwise RLSH's will never truly get to know each other and bond with each other the way we used to back in the day on the original Heroes Network and on the conference calls.
