By being willing to be mentally ill, we proceed to defeat the enemy at its own game. Resistance to the condition is the basis of what it thrives on, so if we allow ourselves to be goaded into this state of attrition, so necessary for it to win control of our minds, then we will achieve victory, by defeating its supplantation.
Control of this state marks a path of predication, that can be re-created at any crux point we are given a chance to succeed at. Self-sacrifice seems worthless, unless we create it for ourselves. This crucifixtion does not develop health, but rather recidivism. God gives us the rules of the game, and leaves it up to us, to play it. Our goal is to improve our ability to be mentally ill, without harming ourselves, or others in the process.
By being worse at disavowing its presence, we take the condition upon ourselves by claiming it as our own. We will be absolved from the bondage of service to a higher state, through this. By teaching others how to navigate the course of insanity, we learn how to weather it, ourselves. Addiction breeds slavery in a cycular process of learning how to unlearn that which we have had to relearn.
I have learned how to be willing to sacrifice myself to God, for the greater good, and it is a process of justice. How to function schizophrenically, in an insane world is knowing that on or of my meds, i am mentally ill for life, so that no one else who chooses to follow, may fall the same way.

I've noticed myself that by not worrying or even focusing on my Trichotillomania, that it doesn't really bother me anymore. It's also not as bad as used to be when I was overly focusing on trying to get rid of it. By accepting that I have it and just not paying it much attention to it at all then I feel much better about it. I'd still like it to go away, but I won't let it define me or take over my life. I choose to be happy with or without it. Although the whole thing takes time to understand and it is a lot easier said than done.

Mental Illness sucks. It doesn't give me power, or grant me special abilities. It's called a disorder, disease, and illness for a reason. It's tough. It gets easier though, each day you don't freak out and hurt yourself or others and run into problems all the time, that's one day you weren't crazy. Go for two. Then three, after a while you're not crazy anymore (except on paper, like me; I'm perfectly fine now but never got my papers changed so I sound like a raving lunatic on paper because dozens of professionals across the country have shared their worthless two cents on my sanity. Like to throw them in a concrete cage beat them rape them and torture them for three years and see if they feel a certain way about it afterwards; some people hold on to things like that. Doesn't mean I'm crazy; my psychological response to what happened to me, I feel, was perfectly sound, reasonable, and logical. And, better than some of the others I saw, (Joker, Two Face, Bane, the Calender Man, etc), they had....different ways of dealing with the chaos around them.

I totally understand your reasoning though. After living in chaos so long it feels natural, comfortable. You thrive in it, and feel uncomfortable when it seems everything is going to be okay because you know it won't be; not in your experience. After a while, chaos begins to feel so normal that it feels like harmony; it feels right to surrender yourself to it and accept it. It can eat you up after while and you'll go through what's called the dark night of the soul. We go through these periods throughout our lives, when things build up, then the weight is so heavy you collapse, and you build back up, learning something new, repeating the cycle again, and again, as does everyone, as do entire nations. Never let anyone tell you that you're. You are right on time for being who you are today and you can be more. Don't let others bias define the person you become. Don't accept your illness, refuse it. Resist.

Never give in.

Neurocybex are you a schizophrenic? It's not really a mental illness it's just a state of mind like homosexuality. If you are a schizo though I might be able to help you get rid of the 'mental illness' aspects of it.
