PostSubject: DSM-V   Thu Apr 11, 2013 12:27 am

The DSM-V is going to be published in March of 2013. The DSM-V is the fifth version of the official manual for mental disorders. There have been some major changes, such as eliminating some mental disorders from the list and changing how some mental disorders are defined and diagnosed. Some mental disorders are also placed in different sections. I think it's very important for those who have been diagnosed with a mental disorder in the past to know how the new guidelines would affect or change their diagnosis. Here are some links that list the changes and have further information about the DSM-V for those not familiar with the DSM at all.
