| Here are a few links with information to some of those weird, funny, dumb, and random laws you might have heard about before. There are some laws with information for each state, and also some internationally, as well.

| A few of the interesting ones in NJ...
- You cannot wear a bulletproof vest while committing a murder.
- You cannot pump your own gas. (I thought everyone had a gas station attendant pump their gas for them, it's weird how every other state thinks it's weird that we have someone do it for us)
- In an attempt to “foster kindness” in the citizens of New Jersey, the month of May is designated “Kindness Awareness Month”.
As for some in other countries...
- In Thailand, it's illegal leave your house if you're not wearing underwear.
- In Italy, it's illegal for a man to wear a skirt.
- In Australia, only a licensed electrician can change a light bulb.
- In Mexico, bicycle riders may not lift either foot from the peddles, as it might result in a loss of control.
- In Canada, a person may not water their lawn when it's raining. | |

| In Iqaluit You may not smoke within 10 meters of any public entrance no mater how cold it is outside
You may use ashtrays for saucers for your coffee cup if they are not used for smoking
You may use the swimming pool to wash your hands if the Frobisher in washrooms are closed while the resturant is open
You may go do the bussiness outside if the Frobisher Inn Washrooms are closed while the resturant is open
Skidoos have the right of way while either on the roads or the sidewalks Everyone else must move out of the way even is the skidoos are on the left side of the roads
It is illegal to let children under the age of 14 drive a car without a parent with them however they are allowed to drive skidoos and ATVs alone starting around the age of 5
You may have a limit of up to 3 dogs per household and they must be tied up and controled at all times However you can have as many dogs as you want if you own a dog team and they are allowed to run loose around town
You must clean up after the dogs that poop in your yard regardless of whether you own them or not
It is illegal to put children in child seats while driving the car they may instead ride on your back in the hood of your amounti
It is illegal to wear seatbelts while in a taxi because the drunk in the back seat can use it to choke you
It is illegal to complain about the taxi driver smoking in the cab because he needs to concentrate on the driving
You may not complain about the taxi speeding as fast as he can as he is just in a hurry to make a quick buck and needs to concentrate on beating his competitors
If you are a taxi or a skidoo you dont have to pretend to know the difference between the main roads up here or the 401 highway in Ontario as far as the Taxis are concerned they are both the same thing and as far as the skidoos and ATVs are concerned There are no such thing as roads or sidewalks
In order to cross the road at the crosswalk you must dash across the street while avoiding skidoos taxis and other cars and trucks first just to reach the crosswalk sign Then cross the next street again on the other side of the main road in order to get where you are going Best way to do this is pretend you are the frog in the video game |
